Dressage Show Rules

  1. PBP GENERAL RULES GOVERN ALL SHOWS. PBP follows USEF, USDF, WDAA rules. There are exceptions based on PBP General Rules, i.e. relaxed dress code. If you have a special request for equipment, wound care, etc. please Email the Management before the show at Dressage@palmbeachposse.org
  2. Show entries will be open 2 weeks prior to the show.
  3. Show Entry is made through www.horsespot.net and must be completed prior to the Monday before the show weekend.
  4. If you have a conflict with the jumper ring and dressage times, please let management know the week before the show and on your entry form.
  5. Special requests for ride times shall be submitted via email to Dressage@palmbeachposse.org to
  6. Late entries are subject to ride time availability and a $20 Late Fee.
  7. Ride times will be posted to our Facebook the Wednesday prior to the show. It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure they know their ride time.
  8. Changes requested after posted time will be taken into consideration by Management $20 change fee will be applied
  9. Scratches for any reason after Ride Times assigned are non-refundable.
  10. Bridle Numbers: Each horse/rider combination will be issued a bridle number at the Ring gazebo or office. All horses on the show grounds must wear a bridle number or the rider must wear a back number while mounted.
  11. English Attire: Our shows encourage a casual riding experience with riders required to wear riding breeches, collared shirts and boots. No Rider will be marked down due to attire.
  12. Western attire: Our shows encourage a casual riding experience with riders required to wear proper western attire. No Rider will be marked down due to attire.
  13. Dressage scores will be available after the completion of the show.
